GEPA – Fair Trade-Pionier

Since 1975, GEPA has been a pioneer and at the same time a forerunner of fair trade, both for food and beverages such as coffee, cocoa, tea, and handicraft products such as home accessories, primarily from Latin America, Africa and Asia. From political and honorary commitment in world stores and action groups a world-wide movement developed. Today, fair trade products are an integral part of the food retail trade and can of course also be ordered directly from the GEPA online store.

Fair trade is not only part, but core of GEPA’s corporate philosophy. This distinguishes the 100 percent fair trade company from other suppliers who only have part of their product range fairly certified. In addition to the task of offering fair conditions to the producer organizations in the countries of origin, one of GEPA’s main goals here in Germany is to raise awareness of fair trade in everyday shopping behavior – and to bring about lasting change in world trade structures through political work. This is also what its shareholders, all of them church-based development and youth organizations, have stipulated in their articles of association. Today’s consumers are much more aware of the origin and manufacturing conditions of products, but at the same time there is a strong price consciousness, especially in Germany.

This poses two challenges for GEPA: To keep the purchasing conditions for its trading partners in the Global South fair on the one hand and to meet the diverse requirements of the specialized and food retail trade on the other hand through clever management, very great flexibility and situational competence.

Under the leadership of Dynamicon GmbH, Dynamity Group implemented the cloud-based ERP system Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce in a successful collaboration with GEPA. In the course of an upgrade from Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012, all data, functionalities and processes were brought up to date, using current standard functions such as Landed Cost, Advanced Warehouse and OmniChannel order entry.

PETER HAHN – high quality women’s fashion for over 50 years

What started in 1964 with the production and sale of jackets, coats and blankets made from exotic llama wool by the founders Margrit and PETER HAHN, is now a Europe-wide successful, multichannel company with nearly 1,000 employees. PETER HAHN is a wholly owned subsidiary of TriStyle Mode GmbH.

Not least because of the digital revolution, we have positioned ourselves as a multi-channel retailer and serve our customers successfully via our catalogues, online shop, and 21 PETER HAHN retail fashion stores in Germany and Switzerland.

In a successful collaboration, Dynamicon supports PETER HAHN in the ERP implementation project for Microsoft Dynamics 365, both in the areas of application consulting and technical implementation. Dynamicon brings its many years of expertise in the ERP project areas process integration of peripheral systems, online shop connection, data migration and performance optimization with Microsoft Dynamics 365. For an effective project implementation of the various integration scenarios with Dynamics 365, PETER HAHN uses the Microsoft-certified AddOn Dynamicon Advanced Integration. With Dynamicon Advanced Integration, numerous integrations with Dynamics 365 in interaction with Azure components and BizTalk server will be implemented robustly and effectively in the ERP implementation.

omnichannel retailer

An omnichannel retailer with over 10,000 employees is growing. With Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance, Supply Chain Management and Commerce as the central supply chain management system, a future-oriented IT architecture was created that supports this growth.

The introduction of a unified system platform for all locations from the stores to the coordination to the different warehouse. All relevant applications were integrated into the new system structure with a central middleware.

By integrating and optimizing all processes in all locations, all essential omnichannel processes could be raised to a new level.

The Microsoft partner BE-terna was able to write a success story with this complex cloud ERP implementation project for several thousand users in a successful collaboration with Dynamicon.

Dynamicon was responsible for the rollout in the areas of design, implementation and rollout of over 100 integration scenarios with Microsoft Dynamics 365, BizTalk Server and Logic Apps. In particular, the connection of the online store, third-party cash register solution, logistics systems and data warehouse enables the automation of numerous omnichannel business processes.

In addition, the company’s IT area was set up in a future-proof manner through training in the central middleware platform and support after GoLive in the area of ​​Dynamics 365.

Fashion company Breuninger delivers the goods precisely to stores

BADER – mail order company with history

The BADER mail order company looks back on 90 years of company history, which is characterized by innovative ideas. BADER’s secrets of success are high quality, excellent service and an extensive offer as a full-range supplier in the areas of fashion, home textiles and technology.
Dynamicon supported Bader in the implementation and support of Microsoft Dynamics as the central ERP system in the areas of catalogs and advertising material, logistics connection, returns processing and return orders for multiple goods flow scenarios. Dynamicon contributes its many years of mail order expertise in various ERP project areas such as master data and integration scenarios between logistics systems and Microsoft Dynamics. The result was a successful ERP implementation and simultaneous replacement of the previous supply chain management system at Bader.
